This concert features many talented dancers representing a wide variety of dance styles and is open to dancers and choreographers regardless of experience, status, or age.<br /><span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;font-size:85%;" ><br /></span>At "Dance Sistah, Dance", we celebrate our creative differences. Our showcase recognizes the quality and the originality of the many unheard and unseen dancers and choreographers, the differences between their styles and approaches, and gives them a platform to showcase their artistic ideas. Our showcase also provides your students or team members with valuable performance experience.<br /><br />Participation in "Dance Sistah, Dance" is also a wonderful opportunity for members of the dance community to reach new audiences, network, and distribute information on their activities and events and classes as the new season begin.<br /><br />This year our concert will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Taylor Park Auditorium, and promises to be even more exciting and action packed each year. For anyone interested in learning new combinations, this class is bursting with excitement. Annette teaches a fun, high energy class that fuses jazz, hip hop and ballet. This class is for the beginner and intermediate level student and consist of a warm-up, across the floor combinations, and lots of choreography. All students will be given an opportunity to participate in the Fifth Annual "Dance Sistah Dance" Festival at the end of the semester. Classes are held on Saturdays from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the Taylor Park Field House, 39 West 47th Street. Second Floor Dance Studio.
